A few days ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming a key client and dear friend from Bangladesh. To celebrate this, we planned a night cruise on Guangzhou’s famous Pearl River. The weather in Guangzhou had been rainy for several days, and we were worried that our long-anticipated cruise might be interrupted. But just before we set off, the rain stopped! Not only that, the heat that had been weighing us down for days gave way to a refreshing coolness. It truly felt like our Bangladeshi friend was our "lucky star"!

As evening fell, we boarded the cruise ship. The surface of the Pearl River sparkled under the city lights, and Guangzhou's skyline unfolded before us, glowing in vibrant colors. On the boat, we enjoyed the breathtaking views and lively conversation with our Bangladeshi friend. To our surprise, the adventure didn’t end there. On the way back after the cruise, we encountered a minor car accident! As our taxi turned a corner, it was side-swiped by another vehicle. Though the scene was tense, thankfully, no one was hurt. We all breathed a sigh of relief and couldn’t help but think that our “lucky star” was still looking out for us. The incident made us appreciate the trip even more and reminded us that safety and well-being are blessings we shouldn’t take for granted.

During our conversations with our Bangladeshi friend, we also touched on the current situation in Bangladesh, learning more about the challenges they face.
